Our Mission
SFT provides unwavering support to parents and caregivers of children diagnosed with Down syndrome and Autism. Through our online network, we aim to streamline conversations and facilitate the sharing of invaluable resources within our community. In doing this, we seek to alleviate feelings of isolation and normalize experiences for both caregivers and individuals with disabilities. At SFT, we value the power of connection, advocacy, and respect.
Our Expert Presentations
SFT hosts virtual events that feature coordinated expert presentations on rotating topics, covering a wide range of subjects from birth and development to social interactions. These presentations are designed to provide valuable education and support to parents and caregivers navigating the journey of raising children with Down syndrome and Autism. That include interactive Q&A sessions with our guest speakers. This allows for deeper exploration of topics, clarification of information, and personalized guidance based on attendees' specific needs and concerns.
Who is MAC's Mom?
Hi, I'm Arlene. I wear many hats - connector, communicator, parent advocate, wife, and, most importantly, MAC's mom. With a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's in organizational behavior, I have a passion for bringing people together. My work, is shaped by my son, who serves as my greatest inspiration.
